PRE-APPOINTMENT CARE
The below restrictions and instructions are general in nature across all procedures to ensure your skin is in the best condition. Following these guidelines is your responsibility and will affect your results. Please read them carefully. For instructions regarding your specific procedure, please visit the dedicated procedure page.

1 Month before your appointment:

DO NOT get:
- Botox or Fillers

Chemical Peels
-
Laser Treatments

1 Week before your appointment:
​

DO NOT expose yourself to heavy sunlight or become sunburnt.
-
DO NOT have any hair removal services.
-
DO NOT use Retinol or acne creams
-
Hydrate well by drinking extra water, the more the better.
​
48 hours prior to your appointment:
​
-
DO NOT take blood-thinning medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen or fish oil to minimize the risk of bleeding unless medically necessary.
-
Use a gentle exfoliator or scrub a few days before the appointment to help remove dry or dead skin.
24 hours prior to your appointment:

- DO NOT drink alcohol before the procedure.
-
DO NOT drink coffee or anything with caffeine before the procedure.
AFTER CARE
The instructions below are general in nature across all procedures to ensure your results are absolutely amazing. Following these guidelines is your responsibility and will affect your final look. Please read them carefully.

FOR BROWS

Keep the area clean and dry for the first 24 hours
-
Keep retinol and tretinoin products off of any areas with permanent makeup or tattoos
-
Use provided aftercare packet and aftercare given to you by your provider
-
Avoid swimming or excess sweating for the first 7 days following the procedure.

Avoid the following for 14 days after the procedure
-
- Makeup on the treatment area
-
- Hot tub, sauna or jacuzzi
-
- Intentional tanning

FOR LIPS
-
Avoid touching or picking the treated area during the healing process.
-
Avoid hot, spicy or staining foods for 2-3 days after the procedure.
-
Apply provided ointment to the lips frequently to provide a barrier and keep them moisturized for the first 2 weeks.
-
Avoid doing the following for the entire 2-week healing process:
-
Exercise, swimming, tanning/tanning beds, laser treatments, chemical peels, performing heavy cleaning, drinking alcohol, open-air vehicles.

FOR RF MICRONEEDLING
-
Wait at least 4 hours post-treatment to wash or apply creams/serums/moisturizers and make up to the skin being treated.
-
Avoid heat, such as hot tubs or saunas for 1 to 2 days
-
Avoid excess sun exposure and always use a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen to prevent further sun damage.
-
Bruising, redness, swelling, or a grid pattern may be visible and will resolve with time.
-
Avoid Tretinoin, retinol's, benzoyl, peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acid's, or harsh astringents for 2-3 days
FOR LASER REMOVAL
-
Avoid skin irritants such as Tretinoin, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, retinol, or astringents for 2 to 3 days post-treatment.

Avoid heat (hot tubs and saunas, ect) for 1-2 days
-
If a blister develops, it will resolve itself quickly.

You may experience some mild edema and swelling for 2 to 3 hours after the procedure. Many patients may get a light, allergic-type rash that typically responds well to over-the-counter hydrocortisone. You may want to take a Benadryl before you go to sleep the night of the treatment as well to avoid the light rash.
